East Bay Makers Club is a nonprofit community workshop operated by Community Technology & Creative Education. We make practical technology, shared tools, and hands-on learning more accessible to people throughout Berkeley and the East Bay.

Membership revenue supports the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the shared workshop. Charitable donations, grants, volunteers, and community partnerships extend that work through free public programs, subsidized education, shared project materials, accessible learning opportunities, and fabrication services for community-serving organizations.

Our programs include free public build and repair nights, practical technology education, tool onboarding, visiting lectures, hands-on workshops, and collaborative programs developed with local schools, nonprofits, and community groups.

We measure our work through program attendance, instructional hours, class completion, free and subsidized participation, repairs and projects completed, volunteer service, community partnerships, and participant feedback.

Our goal: help people gain useful skills, complete meaningful projects, repair things that matter, learn beside others, and participate in a durable local community built around making and sharing knowledge.
