Prusa
3D printers
Multiple Prusa printers, including an XL 5-tool, for prototypes, brackets, repairs, and the occasional tiny miracle.
East Bay Makers Club is building a practical Berkeley workshop for tools, projects, repairs, experiments, and the kind of ideas that get better around a shared bench. Become a founding member, bring your household, or donate to help the space grow.
Membership
Join the first wave of members helping turn the shop into a durable, useful, and welcoming place to make things. Individual founding memberships are $55/month, with family plans starting at $85/month.
Donations
Membership keeps the lights on. Donations help us buy and repair tools, stock shared materials, support access experiments, and make the shop more useful for the wider East Bay maker community.
Give once, give monthly, or send the link to someone who wants more practical making in Berkeley.
DonateThe shop
The space is being built for practical making: prototyping, fabrication, electronics, repair, art experiments, and the weird half-formed ideas that turn into good evenings.
Multiple Prusa printers, including an XL 5-tool, for prototypes, brackets, repairs, and the occasional tiny miracle.
Cut, engrave, test, repeat, and bring flat materials into crisp finished parts.
Soldering, scopes, debugging, and enough bench space to stop balancing parts on notebooks.
Large-format routing for furniture, fixtures, signs, molds, jigs, and sturdy ideas.
Programming
EBMC is in its first real season as a member workshop. We are learning what people want to make here, what support helps projects move, and which rhythms make the space useful without over-programming it too early.
Founding members help shape that next layer: tool onboarding, build nights, classes, repair sessions, open shop time, and the community habits that make a workshop feel alive. When new classes and programs come online, we will post them here and send them to the newsletter.
Classes and special events will land here once they are real. Join the newsletter for the first notice.

Join us for our Open Build Night with Fixit Clinic. Bring your project idea, an existing project or
a repair project and we'll help you get started or move forward.
